From the moment I could hold a whisk, I knew the kitchen was my happy place. Mixing, cooking, baking, decorating, all felt like second nature. But life had other plans before I could chase my dream of culinary artistry.

Right before college, I lost my sister, Tolulope. She was an incredible Architecture student, passionate about designing spaces that inspired people. Sitting in her room one day, surrounded by her sketches and blueprints, I knew I wanted to carry her dreams forward. So, I put my own plans on hold and pursued a degree in Architecture & Urban Development at Morgan State University. What started as a tribute soon became a love of its own.

Somewhere between drafting buildings and studying design, I realized food and architecture share the same magic: precision, creativity, and the ability to bring people together. A school project on the relationship between food and architecture sealed the deal. My passion for culinary art never faded; it just found a new foundation.

After six years as a staff Architect at Waldon Studio Architects and earning an MBA from Johnson & Wales University, I finally returned to my first love of culinary arts via desserts and finally cake. YummyTecture was born from my belief that desserts should be as stunning as they are delicious. My architectural background shapes every cake, from structure to intricate details, turning each creation into an edible masterpiece.

Today, as the Owner and Cake Architect at YummyTecture Dessert LLC, I blend my love for design, precision, and flavor to craft cakes that tell a story. But my most cherished role? Being a wife to my Kay and mom to three amazing boys, who remind me every day why I do what I love.
